The factory behind Ashard first opened its doors in the early 2000s in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, China. For over 20 years since, we've specialized in the design and manufacture of suitcases, supplying OEM products to brands around the world. From material selection to mold design and quality inspection — we controlled every stage of production in-house, with the pride of a true manufacturer.
But after years on the factory floor, one question kept coming back to us: "Why are the suitcases we make sold under overseas brand logos for many times the price?" We were the ones building the quality. But the brand story belonged to someone else.
In 2014, we made a decision: let the manufacturer sell directly to the people who use the product. Cut out the unnecessary middle costs, and deliver something genuinely good at an honest price. That's where the Ashard brand began.
Entering the Japanese market was, for us, a natural next step. Japanese customers care deeply about quality, value attention to detail, and recognize the true worth of things built to last. That mindset closely mirrors the manufacturing philosophy we've pursued for 20 years.
Quality made possible by selling direct. Pricing made possible by selling direct.
Ashard brings a genuine companion to every traveler on the road.
